Please note: The information contained in this section is a general guide for typical fees. If you have questions or concerns regarding what is outlined here, please contact Anna to discuss further.

Therapy Fees
The Australian Psychological Society provides an annual suggested fee schedule. The current suggested fee for the 2026-2027 financial year is $330 for a 50min+ session.
To assist in improving access to therapy, a 3 tiered system is used to determine fees:
-
Full Fee - $330 - applied to third party account holders
-
Standard Fee - $255
-
Reduced Fee - $205 - Centrelink Health Care Card or Pension Card holders
-
Clients funded through the NDIS or DVA are charged fees in line with the requirements set out by those governing bodies
Please note: Medicare rebates or Private Health Insurance may assist in reducing the out of pocket fee, however these do not cover the full session fee. Payments are required on the day of service.

Autism Assessments
Comprehensive Autism diagnostic assessments involve gathering detailed information from multiple sources, including clinical interviews with the individual being assessed, interviews with someone who can report on their behaviour in different settings (e.g., parent or partner), review of psychometric assessments, and review of school reports. A detailed assessment report is then also provided, and a feedback session held to discuss the outcome of assessment and recommendations for next steps.
Clinical interviews are between 1.5hours and 2 hours long depending on the type of interview. The Australian Psychological Society suggests fees that range between $480 (1.5hours) and $622 (2 hours). However in order to keep assessments affordable the following fees are applied:
-
Full Fee 1.5 hours - $290
-
Full Fee 2 hours - $310
-
Health Care Card Holders 1.5 hours - $260
-
Health Care Card Holders 2 hours - $290
In general, you can anticipate 3 interview sessions, 2 with the individual and 1 with the informant. Assessment interviews with the individual are 1.5 hours in duration, and informant interviews are 2 hours long. Feedback sessions are 1 hour long, and charged in line with therapy fees listed above.
A flat fee of $1500 is then charged to cover the remaining clinical work that occurs outside of face-to-face contact and report preparation.
Overall, this means you can anticipate to pay the following for your assessment:
-
Health Care Card = $2515
-
Full Fee = $2645
To assist in making access to assessments more affordable payment plans can be negotiated based on your particular circumstances.
Children and young people may be eligible for a Medicare rebate through provisions to support assessment for complex neurodevelopmental disorders. Please contact Anna or speak with your GP to determine if this is an option for you.

ADHD Assessments
Comprehensive assessment for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) involves screening for symptoms of ADHD, ruling out other explanations for these symptoms, exploring co-occurring disorders, and understanding how these symptoms influence engagement in school, work, or recreational activities. Following diagnosis of ADHD psychological strategies to support symptom management and reduce interference in day-to-day life can be explored.
Assessment involves interviews with the individual being assessed (1.5 hours long), an interview with someone who can report on their behaviour in different settings (e.g., parent or partner; typically 1 hour long), and review of other available information (e.g., psychometric assessments and school reports)
Interview sessions are charged as:
1) Health Care Card Holder 1 hour - $205
2) Health Care Card Holder 1.5 hours -$260
3) Full Fee 1 hour - $255
4) Full Fee 1.5 hour - $290
A $600 fee is then applied to cover the remaining clinical work completed outside of face-to-face time, and for report preparation. Therefore, overall you can expect to pay the following fees in total for your assessment:
-
Health Care Card Holder - $1065
-
Full Fee - $1145
Please note, if you are wanting to be assessed for both Autism and ADHD (or other co-occurring conditions) then this is billed as a Comprehensive Autism Assessment.
